That confused me so much until I read your post that said it was you.
The opening day for 18 teams is today. I'm excited. The Cardinals are going to win and the Cubs shall lose!

Hey... you shouldn't say that since you live in St. Louis. People like me will beat you up for saying that.

That's OK. It won't change the fact that they suck. They've won 1 game out of 4 so far, against the BREWERS no less, and their only victory came because their bullpen bailed them out.

Well they won today, and played spectacularly so all hope is not lost.

Winning one game out of four isn't so bad. The Expos have won one game out of four, and everyone knows how great they are. Plus, everyone knows that Youppi is the best mascot in Major League Baseball.

Well the Cardinals are 2-3 and all the rest in the NL Central are around there too. Only 2 teams have one more win than the Cardinals so it's too early to tell if any team sucks.
Hey, Detroit has a 4-0 and it took them until May last year to get four wins. So I don't think we can judge any team this early.

Detroit beat the Jays 3 times. End of mystery. Ah, but I kid Toronto. Kansas City's supposed to be really good this year - possibly good to know if you're headed to KCMO anytime soon, Tasneem. Personally, I miss the Missouri teams of the 1985 "I-70 Series" - whatever happened to the ever-amusing Joaquin Andujar and the gloriously mediocre Buddy Biancalana?

Yeah I went back and looked and realized that Detroit didn't do anything that great...
My cousin keeps telling me that KC will be good this year cause of Beltran but my older brother says that Beltran is overrated.

Juan Gonzalez and Mike Sweeney aren't too bad either. Of course, Albert Pujols is better than anyone - although I always have to remember to pronounce it with an accent on the second syllable (pu-JOLS) as putting it on the first syllable makes his name sound icky.

Albert Pujols is too awesome. I really wanted him on my fantasy baseball team but the one team who has no idea of what they are doing got him. Now that team will not trade him to me... So I'm mad.
I think he hit a homerun today. He's awesome!

Cardinals lookin' good. Canadian teams need someone to hook up the jumper cables. Even the "San Juan Expos" aren't profiting from fun in the Caribbean sun sufficiently to figure out how to hit Tom Glavine's curve balls. (*hrumph*)

Did you see the last game? They were winning 5-1, and barely won 6-5. They suck. They'll be lucky to come within 10 games of the Astros or the Cubs

Lamentably, no, I didn't see the game. Still, don't give the Astros and Cubs too much credit - they're accomplished teams at the art of the choke. They never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.
