I want to thank the Natopian Authorities for having accepted the Embassy of Let-be-land. Soon I will update our forums to establish the Embassies board. And reciprocally Natopia will have its Embassy in Let-be-land.

I want to inform that next Dec 1st will be Let-be-land's National Day which commemorates the beggining of our independence on Dec 3rd 2001.( Kislev 18, 5762 of the Jewish calendar)
The Independence Day may be celebrated according to one or both calendars.
There is a custom in Let-beland that important political events be celebrated only on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays.
When a date happens to fall on a Thursday or Friday, it is celebrated on the previous Wednesday. And if it falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it is celebrated on the next Monday.
This being the case, for the Gregorian civil calendar this year, Dec. 3rd is Friday, so it's changed to Wed. Dec 1st
For the Jewish calendar, Kislev 18 falls this year on Wed Dec 1st also.( and remains unaltered, as it is Wed)
So for this year 2004/5765 Let-be-land's National Day is on the same day for both calendars.
It is the time of the Linden blooming in our southern hemisphere. Linden is our National Flower and this time is a Joyous one. And also the time of Chanukah ( a week later, beggining at sunset Dec 7th), the Jewish Feast of Lights, which celebrates freedom from oppression.
