On behalf of the West Overbrook Expos and the government of the Republic of West Overbrook, I would like to congratulate Tasneem on the victory of her Teem Neem in the Natopian Baseball League.
The West Overbrook Expos were going well for the first half of the season, but probably because we were paying our players (particularly our pitchers) in West Overbrook dollars, we couldn't keep up.
The league was extremely competitive, with Ryan's Koopa Troopas and Nate's Imperials remaining strong opponents throughout the season. Nate's team was the worst of the four of us, but that wasn't a very bad "worst", as he still won very close to half of his games (a percentage of .489).
Congratulations to all of the teams in the NBL this year for a well-played season, and now it's on to the playoffs...where there is no clear future winner, by the way...
