Some weeks ago Your Imperial Majesty graced the Paulovian Forum on its opening. I now return your gracious visit. Firstly, I request the honour of entering into dialogue with Natopia for the purpose of a treaty of mutual recognition and friendship. Secondly, and please forgive my presumption, but in a few weeks time Paulovia will be making its formal claim for Micras territory through the MCS. Welcome to Natopia, Excellency A treaty between Natopia and Paulovia is certainly amicable, we have a standard treaty on display in "Standard Treaties" sticky thread in this forum, or we may construct a unique treaty. Natopia would be most pleased to support the Paulovian claim. Also, even though we are not sticklers for protocol here in Natopia, my title is "Sovereign Majesty" not "Imperial Majesty."  |

Public support has little to do with actual admittance to the MCS, though. Ryan pretty much makes those decisions regardless of what others think. Which is fairly evident by the masses of people who seem angry with him for one thing or another.  I wish your nation good luck, and long life. You all certain seem to have it all together. Most "new" micronations in our Sector come in with a complete ignorance of even the most basic of protocol. Nice to see a nation that didn't fall into that particular habit. |

Your Sovereign MajestyMy apologies for my breach of protocol. It is most unusual for me. Paulovia would be most happy to accept your standard Treaty of Recognition without amendment. It is refreshing to encounter such a concise document. Of course the Treaty will have to be ratified by the Paulovian Royal Council of Ministers and be granted Royal Assent. But I see no difficulties with such a short document! HRH Prince Paul conveys his regards to Your Sovereign Majesty, and the people of Natopia, and thanks you for your gracious reception. In good faith of the ratification, I hereby sign and ratify this treaty for Natopia,
Treaty of Recognition
between
The Sovereign Natopian Empire
and
The Principality of Paulovia
Both Signing Parties to this Treaty shall recognize the sovereignty of each other over all territorial claims, actual or virtual.
Neither Party will engage in overt or covert hostilities against the other Party.
If a conflict shall arise among the Parties, a neutral third party shall be selected by the Signing Parties to mediate.
Terms of this treaty may be amended with both Parties' consent.

As the authorised representative of His Royal Highness Prince Paul I of the Principality of Paulovia and Commonwealth, I hereby set my signature and seal upon the document below. I am assured by His Royal Highness after viewing the draft, that ratification is a formality at the next Royal Council Meeting.
