Aryez would like to disband its military at once and place it under Natopian control. As Emperor, this is already acceptable to me. All I need is Natopian approval.

Erm... well... firstly, there is no treaty between us... so it would be like it is being given to us from "nothing" because, legally... Natopia doesnt even say Aryez exists. a standard recognizition treaty can be signed... You've been around long enough.
secondly... i assume you mean recwar military?
thirdly... our own recwar military is a shambles... unless you'd like to be given a commission and a brigade or fleet or something in the Natopian Defense Force to be made of Aryezi nationals... like how the Royal British Army had all Scottish regiments?

If Aryez joins the UC, does that not mean that Natopia by default has to recognize Aryez? Yes, I meant RecWar military. The same way you took over Sullifree's defenses.

No, we do not believe in recwar, so it would not be the same way. If he tried to recwar in SUllifree's name I would be pissed off.

One can ignore it... and honorable people would respect a nations right to ignore recwar.
Aryeztur... did u just want Aryez's MCS land "protected" by Natopia (painted black)? Coz then Aryez would have to join Natopia as a demesne... thats all Sullifree and Alrodria have done so far. But if its joining the UC... that would be pointless as as soon as the UC is up and running, Alrodria and Sullifree would be under the UC's protection, and would leave Natopian protection.

No, there is no need for Aryez to join Natopia first. Aryez is just going to join the UC.
