My dear Natopians!
A great danger is upon us, the Kingdom of Lovely has declared war on our good friends and Novasolan allies, the Empire of the Alexandrians.
Fellow Royal Legates, we must stand up for the glorious institution that is the Novasolum Treaty Organization We must aid our neighbors and long-time friends.
It is with much dread that I ask this honorable assembly this thing today. But we must take up arms against the Kingdom of Lovely.
I hereby ask the Royal Frenzy to issue an official Declaration of War against the Kingdom of Lovely:

the resolution is passed 2-0, however Legates may continue to vote to show their loyalty and support.

its like role playing, if you've ever done that. riponia.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=586look around there and get a feel for it, ill admit this war is much more confuzing than most should be. the judge of the war is taking a hiatus to organize the war... it resumes on monday, with us in it. i will be commanding a naval unit the Expeditionary Fleet (check the navy office in the defense ministry for its stats). you can pick another fleet to command, or if you are up to the challenge, you can organize an army with the power equivalent of 25,000 troops. that means, basically u can have an army of 25,000 "avergage" soldiers... or 5,000 highly specialized troops... or maybe even 50,000 but they would be consripted people with little training or something... or 10,000 troops with enough tanks and other ground power to make up the remaining 15,000 troops. or you can organize an air squadron with the equivalent power of 25 planes. the air force doesnt have traditional planes... in fact.. i suppose the air force can be reduced to a "ground division" of the spacefleet using the fighters and bombers here: chancellornate.proboards20.com/index.cgi?board=spacefleet&action=display&thread=1137104670 |

umm im not big on role playing, i better sit this one out i think, i'll only get confused. pity we dont use battle field 2 or something similar for these wars, then id crush these lovely bastards under my boot.

yea... stuff like that has been proposed before... but they poo-poo it coz not everyone has those games and it would limit the war... yeah, i understand... i kinda get bogged with the RP aspect of recwars... but i still like em... i dunno |

thats an idea to use. but another reason role playing is the standard, is that video games limits it to ground combat... and usually small platoon units. micronationalists enjoy the grandiose notion of commanding massive armies worthy of pre-WWI eras and have fantastic naval battles with air planes dogfighting and sinking ships. not to mention several micronations' arsenals are in different time periods... Gotzborg is WWI era, a majority of nations are present to very-near-future era, and others, like ourselves, are a bit more into the future. and of course the era of military technology is a non-negotiable aspect of a micronation's coveted unique culture  |

i think i'll stick to invading king danny's flat. what are the chances of gettin a few medals if i pull it off?
oh btw this war we're involved in now whos involved all in all.
it might be useful to post a list of the other micronations involved unless its just us & the alexandrians against lovely

medals and perhaps other rewards too.... make sure to take a picture of you and your hostage for us all to see involved nations: Woodstania, Matbaa, Riponia, Kahbah, Monovia, Lovely, Alexandria, Grand Commonwealth, Stormark, Nova England The "Allies" (our opponents) Matbaa, Riponia, Kahbah, Monovia, Lovely, Nova England Us Alexandria, Grand Commonwealth, Stormark, and Woodstania (i think) This is essentially a war between the new nations (almost all Lovely spin-offs except Riponia i think) and the older nations (us minus woodstania who has clung to the GC since it splintered off of Lovely) |
