I think that no matter what we should not have a second official able to pass decrees unless we do it to where both have to agree.

then we start down the slippery slope of dinarchy... or dual monarchy - even worse.
no, im intending the Grand Chancellor, who will be more accountable to the people, to be a very active executive surrugate. i want the Emperor to be a ceremonial head of state (with reserved powers for emergency and tradition). I envision, and hope, that in the future, the elected Grand Chancellor will be determining Natopia's future... rather than just myself.

I still think this is pretty darn bureaucratic and is just too much power and can create too much confusion.

Were you not argueing for more bureacracy a few weeks ago?
It's not create much confusion, as I said, after the Grand Chancellor is elected, I will be taking a less active role as Emperor.

Eh, OK, I guess that works. More bureocracy doesn't mean more people with more power, it means splitting current power. And alas, Nate, I am not ALWAYS right---I'm just right most of the time

Actually wasn't thinking about that... I just wanted to seem crazy by not saying wrong, so I said left.

Xon, as Nate said, get some more respect. Just because you think that you're the second incarnation of Jesus Christ doesn't mean you can waltz around the micronational world insulting good-meaning states unnecessarily.
Calling Natopia a cult is the most ridiculous thing I've heard in my entire life, considering it's an awesomely positive community where people speak freely, and people do what they like within reasonable limits.

Well... techinically... since we worship Neem as our god... and there are less than 1 million adherents.... we're technically a cult... but no, xon's an ass no matter what
