Since it's Natopia Day tomorrow, I have a little request for HSE Nathan Shepard, what if we created a board (folder, I don't know what you call it..) where you can post information, links, etc about computer security. This could improve fellow Natopians computer security and prevent them from the possibility of getting hacked. Some people don't even realize the risks of being on the internet, and if you have a cable/DSL connection and don't have a firewall it's like an open door for all hackers. If fellow Natopians don't have a firewall I suggest downloading the free one off of this site, updating it and having it on your computer at all times (thats if you have a cable/DSL connecton)... www.zonelabs.com/store/content/company/products/znalm/freeDownload.jspAnyone else who understands computer security, I wouldn't mind your input as well. Very good idea . That particular program, Zone Alarm, is particularly useful in stopping viruses/dodgy programs on your computer from accessing the internet. For a while I had a few viruses that were trying to access the internet to do whatever damage they could or to open up my computer to hack attacks (Though it would have been a hackers nightmare, as they'd have to operate at 56k speeds ;D ) and Zone Alarm always allowed me to make sure that they weren't accessing the internet. Regards from your Antican pal , Olorix
