Who do you think it'll be? Personally, I think it'll be a close race between Clark and Kerry, but Edwards could be a factor.

I'm thinking Clark... but as long as Lieberman doesnt win office. When he was Gore's running mate wasnt he trying to outlaw all videogames and violent movies? i want to be able to play GTA 5 when it comes out... and watch gorey films if i so desire.
but then... this is US politics..... were in Natopia.... u all fall under my control!!

Kerry just beat Dean by 13% in New Hampshire. He's definitely a contender.

Kerry, Edwards, and Clark the big winners of the day, with Lieberman dropping out after a disappointing finish in Delaware. I smell a Kerry-Edwards ticket in November.

Kerry continuing his sweep of the electorate. He's a fifth of the way to the nomination. Now beating Bush in the polls. I definitely sense a change in November.

I agree. I can see a Kerry and Edwards combination for president and vice president. I also think that they could beat Bush if they continue to pick up supporters.

Even if he's beating President Bush that doesn't mean much. Bush is popular, and there have been Presidents that have entered with as low as 40% approval ratings and have still been reelected. Likewise, there have been Presidents who have entered with an extremely high approval rating and have lost. But I seriously want George W. Bush out of office.
Take George Bush Sr. for example. Prior to George W. Bush, George Bush Sr. had achieved the highest public approval rating (somewhere near the 90 percent) but lost to Bill Clinton for the 1992 Election. Why? While it is true that he waged a war we won, he lost because many people agreed that he didn't do enough when it came to domestic issues. It was President Bill Clinton who had finally brought the United States out of debt, which had surmassed to the near trillion units from the Arms Race during the Cold War.
It's a given fact, wartime Presidents will always have an extremely high approval rating. Like Abraham Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, and Franklin D. Roosevelt. Also George Washington and Theodore Roosevelt (not Wartime-Presidents but served in the armed forces) Why is this? I feel that the US Government brainwashes the American public into feeling a sense of patriotism. If you don't approve of a war-time President you are often labled as "unpatriotic." Why do you think that approval rating has taken a steady downfall since the capture of Saddam Hussien? But does that mean that that wartime President is a good one? Not necessesarily.
I truly believe that many people only support George W. Bush because of the war. Tell me, exactly what has he done to benefit you? I disagree with much of the decisions he has made, infact I disagree with him being in office. For example, the major cuts in education funding, the proposal to pass a law that when in effect, overtime hours will not pay extra for overtime workers, and the massive tax refunds (which came from a surplus that was not even gained by him, it was President Clinton who had brought the country into a surplus) he gave to the rich at the beginning of his term, which if he was inclined to he could have used that money for better things. Also the No Child Left Behind Act. It sounds promising, as it holds schools liable for low standarized testing scores. But what the hell...it's obvious that test scores will be low when you reduce funding to education. The city schools of St. Louis have taken hard hits from this especially, since the state also looses money from the federal education cuts, but obviously the state would much rather cut education funding to the city than the county. Infact, the city schools are so poor, that the MO Government sold them to private companies to keep them in operation. The city school of Normandy couldn't even afford to fix a $150 Copy Machine, forcing teachers to copy tests and worksheets from the master copy. And when the MO Government gets extra money, they fucking decide to spend it on decorative lights for the city. If you don't invest in education, you loose businesses who feel that they can employ more educated people in other states.
I hope you enjoyed my anti-Bush rant. Hell, it's probably safe to say that the rant was even anti-Republican. Just my 2 cents.

Seriously, if 9/11 hadn't happened, Bush would not be the Republican nominee. That's the only thing that's lent "credibility" to his tenure in office. Now, between that, and Iraq, anyone who criticizes Bush is labeled "unpatriotic" or accused of helping the terrorists. And don't even get me started on Iraq. Intelligence was sketchy at best that he was making or even had WMDs, but we went in anyway in typical "Wag the Dog" fashion to distract us from domestic issues and our blunders in Afghanistan. Speaking of which, when was the last time you heard about Afghanistan in the news?
I can't wait to see the November election. If Bush gets re-elected, then this country deserves everything he does with another 4 years in office. God help us.

Wow, I totally agree with JG2790 and RCH Ryan Grass!!! Down with Bush! It's one of those things that I actually agree with my parents on.
How can anyone like Bush? His Medicare bill sucks. He spends waaay too much on the military instead of our schools and things that are going on in our country. He keeps lying to everyone and he sucks at public speaking. And then theres that whole thing about everyone not being able to find his records in the National Guard makes him look even more bad. I'm all for the space program and stuff but he went too far. He could redirect that money from Nasa to schools. Do we really need to go to the moon again when the country is in debt? I'm glad his approval rating is dropping. I really hope he doesn't get reelected or the country is gonna go downhill from there.

He vowed that the United States will make another landing on the moon by 2015.
While it is true that Saddam Hussein was a dangerous man, Bush should have highly considered the consequenses from going to war with Iraq. Since May 1, already 170 soldiers have died. The two possible leaders of the new Iraq, have both been assasinated. Also dead is Sergio Veirra de Mello, the UN Chief Representative in Iraq. And to this day, we have STILL not found any trace of Weapons of Mass Destruction (nuclear, biological, chemical), which was the first reason why we went to war with Iraq in the first place. And now the Bush Administration is even saying that they only went because Iraq had ONLY the POSSIBILITY to build Weapons of Mass Destruction, and have even gone as far as to say that Iraq is funding terrorist groups. Bush needs to get his act together, or else the American public will lose thier faith in him (this has start to take trend with his dropping approval rating). Already in Great Britain, the public has lost all faith in Tony Blair and George W. Bush since they felt they were lied to more than the Americans were.

Wow, I don't think anyone who posts on this likes Bush. Yay, everyone here is a smart educated person! Well, except for me but I still don't like Bush. I think people in Britian are pretty smart sometimes.

It's 9:00 and it's a virtual dead heat between Kerry and Edwards in Wisconsin. Dean's dead in the water and is a fool to stay in the race now.
Oh, and Bush was a MALE cheerleader, so he wore a MALE cheerleading outfit.
