Saw the Expos lose 8-6 to the Phillies last night in Montreal at the "Big O". They had an exciting 4-run 6th inning, but also gave up four runs to the first four batters in the game, so it pretty much wasn't any use.
I did see Youppi, the Expos mascot. He rocks.
Apparently the Phillies kicked the Expos' collective heinies today as well, 7-0.
I'm watching the Jays and the Orioles on TV right now...the Orioles are pitching Ottawa-Gatineau's own Érik Bédard, and so far the Jays aren't finding the mark against him (even though Bédard was just in the minors a few days ago and was shelled by Syracuse, the Jays' farm team).

I should be going to probably my last game in St. Louis sometime soon, I hope.
The Cards lost today but I didn't see it because we had to go to some stupid UMKC reception for my brother.

Question: If none of my fantasy baseball team pitchers ever actually pitch during a week, do I win in the walks category because if you don't pitch you can't walk anyone? I must know this. By the way - what's goin' on with the mighty Team Neem? Will it fall to the Koopa Troopas? (And will they ultimately win because of the superior strategy of "Mr. I-Got-32-On-My-ACTs"?)

Well actually, there is a minimum inning count for all your pitchers combined. If your pitchers don't pitch for 15 innings, then the scoring categories in pitching will automatically be won by the other team.
Team Neem's team is doing bad in both leagues... She just got lucky before. Team Neem doesn't know as much about baseball as people think she does...
But remember, baseball is very unpredictable. Scores can change very suddenly in a day. One team in my other league was losing 3-15 and came back and won the next day with a score of 12-5 (one tie).
But I do think that it is very likely that Mr. I-got-a-32-on-my-ACTs will win.
Currently, it is 4-4 in the bottom of the 10th. Tavarez (reliever for the Cardinals) got out of a very close situation with players on 1st and 2nd and Burrell up to bat with a 3-2 count.

Personally, I don't think anyone here can predict the games. The lead in the game between me and Neem has changed several times. It just depends on who's winning on Sunday night.

I hope my players do well on Sunday then! But, Ryan makes a good point. I wish I could predict games, but I happen to be really really bad at it.

Will it be a "West Overbrook Expos vs. Team Neem" Natopian World Series?

Haha, I wish... But I think it will be a West Overbrook Expos vs. Koopa Troopas World Series. The winner of that should be Koopa Troopas if he upgrades his pitching.

The mighty Team Neem and the less-than-WOEful West Overbrook Expos continue to dominate the Natopian Baseball League. That is all.

Yeah, like we're not supposed to notice you've just acquired Nomar Garciaparra so he can spring into action for you the minute he's off the disabled list.
