Dr. Strangelove (or How I Learned How to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb)

Stanley Kubrick (2001: A Space Odyssey, Full Metal Jacket, Clockwork Orange) film from 1964 during the height of the cold war between Russia and the US. Takes a frightening, yet comical look at a nuclear war. Features famous scene with Slim Pickens riding a nuke. Nominated for 4 Academy Awards. (Best Picture, Best Actor [Peter Sellers], Best Director [Stanley Kubrick], Best Adapted Screenplay [Kubrick, Peter George, Terry Southern])
Cast: Peter Sellers (Pink Panther series) George C. Scott (Patton) Slim Pickens (Blazing Saddles)

Excellent movie. Peter Sellers plays 3 different characters. Nate's seen it too.

oh man.... i dont know what was funnnier.... the movie or that.... o man... what was that one kids name? ryan... u know... the guy who was "helping" at jr. camp.... kinda gay? made him chancellor of dracoheim to make him stop whining? he didnt get the scene where the guy rides the bomb!!! haha.. what an idiot.

Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
Rated: PG-13
Rating: 4 stars
First Disney film ever rated PG-13. (Very) Loosely based on the ride at Disneyworld, this swashbuckling, yet comical film is one of the best movies put out by Disney. Definitely a must-see. Nominated for 5 Academy Awards, including Best Actor (Johnny Depp).
Cast: Johnny Depp (Secret Window, Edward Scissorhands) Geoffrey Rush (Mystery Men, Shakespeare in Love, Quills, Les Miserables) Orlando Bloom (Lord of the Rings, Black Hawk Down) Keira Knightley (Love Actually)

I give Pirates of The Caribbean 5 STARS!!!! That movie KICKS ASS!!!! Orlando Bloom was great! Everyone waz awesome! (I like the movie but if it didn't have Orli in it I might have never even gone to see it ;D )
