This is because he is afraid that Lavalon will become part of Natopia again. You guys used to get along fine a long time ago. Why can't you guys just get along well again? However, in search of a compromise, I proposed a partition of Lavalon.

did we? well... Lucifer used to be by God's left hand...
i saw the partition... its a peculiar and messy compromise... does Antica even want Lavalon? the talks in their assembly kinda looked like they didnt want to bother....

Just in case xon decides to edit that in more places than MNN.

its such a messy compromise... i further suggest that Lavalon dissolve itself. Honorable and dignified. It can grant the rights to its name to Natopia and Antica if they want it... and I will reorganize the Colony of Klaasiya into the Principality of Old Lavalon... which an elected Prince to be determined by Old Lavalonian citizens. The Principality will seek to preserve the culture and institutions of the Lavalonian republic immediatly after the coup, during the administration of Klaas.

Well, Lavalon is too noble and ancient to dissapear from the world. We can't totally dissolve it. I know its a messy compromise, but what else is there to do. Antica is actually somewhat interested in Lavalon but it is wary since....nobody knows what's going on with it right now.

yeah... well if Lavalon decides to split itself in two, name one Old Lavalon and send it our way... we will take care of it like our own...

I think the dissolution is the best way to go for Lavalon. It doesn't have a good history. It's "good history" is years gone with the forcing out of Ciaron Broeck. SInce then, Lavalon has either been 1) inactive or 2) on the brink of Civil War. Lavalonians have historically hated eachother, bottom line. Old Lavalon would COMPLETELY preserve the culture of Lavalon, and frankly Neither xon or my citizenship applications in Lavalon have been formally approved. This all seems to make an inherent assumption that I and xon are both current Lavalonian citizens!

Your alternative proposal is interesting.
I shall discuss it with Aryeztur and Sager.

AHHHH the return of Xon? Wait. Lavalon still exists? I missed that. Who's still there? I think I want my ten minutes back from reading through all these threads.

You see right now me and Brian are the only people with rights in Lavalon.
Also Sager supports the merger with Natopia.

Oh and one thing that might make our wonderful Mr. Basil more agreeable is if we had a clause guaranteeing that his hazing would come to an end (I know ruining all the fun)

Nate's proposed compromise compromise is fair ... it prevents any accusations of VUAS happening all over again.
Sager, just about a week ago said he was opposed to any annexations of Lavalon. Strange to me how he would support one now.
Z if your rejection of my citizenship application on the grounds of improper formatting is any indication, VUAS will happen all over again.
Can't we just go along with compromise?

Oh, we're perfectly happy to take you.
We just want the impetus for the aquisition to come from your government, not Aryez.
