As all the delegates are arriving i beleive we all should express our nation's motive for wanting to enter into this endeaver, or for simply coming to these talks.
I speak for Natopia. As some may be aware, we were recently involved in the creation of the United Confederation. I beleive that a merger of smaller micronations will do nothing to protect us, encourage our growth or any one of the goals set forth. Im hoping that this "Concert of Micras" will provide the protection that the UC hoped to provide, but on a larger scale, and with less infringments on national sovereignty and integrity.

I speak for Shireroth. My primary goal here is to enliven Shirerithian foreign affairs. I can't say whether Shireroth will join whatever "Concert of Micras" emerges but I am interested in helping shape it so that others can participate in and profit from it. I have to say that the potentiality of it becoming YAMO (Yet Another Micronational Organisation, for the fresher-faced), while quite high, must and can be avoided. We just need to keep away from clichéd ways of thinking about such an endeavour.

I am representing Ronen at this conference, and I am here primarily for the same reason as Mr. Wombat. I believe that it is in Ronen's best interests to culminate relationships with other like-minded nations, and this conference will aid us in doing so. Additionally, I for one benefit from sharing ideas with other micronational leaders, which is obviously the goal of this conference.

I am representing Riponia. I also concur with the words of my honourable friends above, but would like to add that I fully support the concept behind this organisation, certainly more than I did that of the UC. I await the coming conference with much anticipation. Yours, Chris Mackintosh Prime Minister, UCR www.riponia.org

I admire the initiative His Majesty the Emperor Nathan has taken with this. I as well am always cognizant of the YAMO and agree we must try and make this both easy, quick and effective, otherwise the chances of stalling or failure begin to rise exponentially.
Let us go forward with this with a set and effective agenda, with our host acting as a strong facilitator to keep everyone on track and we can move forward more effectively from there.

I am here to represent the Assembly and Government of the Republic of Antica. I am here hoping that this concert would be akin to the non-aligned macronational movement, a movement that I greatly admire. However, sadly, it seems already that as we have superpowers participating, that this dream of mine is dead in the water. We are still eager to take part in the discussions in broad terms.

I agree with my friend Olo on this one. This should be a non-aligned movement. We need to secure a place in Micras for the non-superpowers to discuss issues that affect us.
There is no place for the small nations of Micras to congregate and discuss issues important to us without the larger powers leaning over us.
Is the GC really the enemy? According to my count...the GC isn't ACTUALLY that big.
