Bretheren,
As you may or may not know August 24th is Saint Bartholomew's Day. In August 24, 1572, the French Monarchs started a several month long massacre of the Hugenots (French Protestants) killing an estimated 100,000 of them (some accounts say 70,000). "Pope Gregory XIII's reaction was jubilant: all the bells of Rome pealed for a public day of thanksgiving, a special commemorative medal was struck, to honor the occasion."(Wikipedia) What a horrible occasion, not only the massacre but the joy of the pope. Today is a day that I honor the martyrs of the faith of all branches and its also the day that the evil of the papacy is fully exposed.
In Christ,
