Senate Bill #14
"Impersonation Act"
Any person found to be impersonating an official of the Natopian government shall be considered guilty of treason. Any actions performed by the imposter will be immediatly voided by the Executive Branch. The imposter is to be punished to the fullest extent of the law, as deemed appropriate by a sentencing jury. The government official who was impersonated will not be held responsible but must cooperate with officials if an investigation is launched.

yes he will.....
"after witnessing the impersonation of HE Jennifer C., First Lady of Natopia and Senator, it seems apparent that if this were to happen again we need to have a law in place to punish such actions. the impersonator willfully cast a vote in the Senate in the name of Her Excellency. such actions, left unchecked, could wreck havoc, especially in the unique environment of our government... the internet. vote yes, to protect your identity!!"
is there a speaker against this bill?
if not is there a motion to begin voting?

no. that would be unfair. but that doesnt rule out harsh oppression by means of Chancellorial Decrees....

How many votes does something have to have to pass.........ok ok Nathan don't start with a big lecture about reading and memorizing the Consistution and all the rules and laws, can you just answer my question? Sure I vote yes.

Isn't it like 3 or 4 votes? Majority or something like that. I think since there's maybe 6 or 7 senators, we need 4 votes?

as of now there are 11 voting members (10 senators, 1 speaker). the quorum is set for 6.

oh, to answer ur question sherry....with the a quorum of 6, a bill needs 4 votes to pass.

ive just upped the quorum from 6 to 8 because we have several new senators.
a bill needs 5 votes to pass now.
