i just wanted to start a dedicated thread to the discussion about reverting to a more pure form of lindstromism. Firstly, is anyone actually interested in doing it?

Pure lindstromism is a single monarch with total legislative and executive powers. total judicial power is invested in a judge that has the power to execute the monarch for abusing his power. it is hoped that the fear of execution will keep the monarch in his place. however... this is basically fascism within the government and it has a lot of room for corruption. when natopia was first organized into a micronation as the Supreme Sovereign Republic of Natopia it operated under pure lindstromism for the first few versions of the first constitution. the final version of the first constitution is all that is left from this early time and is in Empire Library chancellornate.proboards20.com/index.cgi?board=senatearchives&action=display&thread=1090707392As you can see even by this time democratic elements and further checks on the grand judge and grand chancellor had begun to creep into the system.

A Dinarchy is the governmental system that was used in the original Antica where there are two monarchs, therefore dinarchs, instead of one. Most of that time Delphi Augustus and the man now known as chrimigules were the dinarchs. Basically the Republic started as a revolt against Delphi.
Antica was not that simple though, the dinarchs could pass edicts together and each had their own certain areas but the edicts could be overturned by the legislature which in turn could pass laws that were secondary to edicts so obviously they could be overturned by edicts, and constitutional amendments needed the approval of all of them.

Frenzy laws are lower than imperial decrees, so its not that different in that aspect. But the Frenzy is the only thing able to amend the constitution... i hope you all realize how powerful of a check that is on the emperor!
