Wow!! I can almost remember what it was like to be 17. I know where I was...University of Houston Law - working on my Juris Doctor. But I can't really remember what it was LIKE to be that young; full of life and ambition. *sigh* Oh well. Hope you had a terrific day! ~ Sir Robert

Well... my birthday itself wasnt that interesting... But last friday i had a fun time when my friend and i missed a movie and we ended up haning out with her friends (that ive never meet before but they turned out to be pretty cool). and then on saturday i went to a production of the Taming of the Shrew in a park and then saw Garden State, a movie that ive been trying to see since it came out but could never actually see it. (partly coz it is R and there are only a handful of theaters around st. louis that dont care about ratings). so i saw an R-rated movie before i was 17 (haha! take that US law!) and then on sunday i saw Sky Captain and World of Tomorrow. an awesome movie! Both were good... but lets just say Garden State earned its R rating

Sounds like a good time. I hope the information I provided for you on the Legal Question will be helpful. If it is...can I be granted a request? I want to be declared Regional Governor of Roblandia - I will annex all of Northeastern Missouri (not much here, I bet if I actually went around door-to-door and sweet talked people, I could get a few thousand signatures to a secession petition lol). I am kidding about Roblandia, by the way...one of those joke-thingies...I do that sometimes. ~ Sir Robert

Alright, people!! We've gotten a little side-tracked, and nobody has been posting to MY thread!! That's not acceptable. So - here's something for everyone to laugh at. Please visit the URL below, and see if you can spot the funny. Just in case you miss it, I will put it at the bottom in black. Enjoy!! neocsr.tripod.com/~ Sir Robert "Neo Marxism is undefeatable!" - Yeah, "undefeatable" - Apparently, their ability to spell is "defeatable". LMAO!!!

It would be, my good sir...if "undefeatable" was an actual word. Unfortunately, it isn't. Unless you want to count slang and out-of-use words. The point of that being funny (at least to me) is that it's a translation error. Whatever word they used there instead literally translates to a word that isn't valid in the English language. Like saying "indeniable" - which I've also seen recently.

isnt that how u spell "undefeatable?" I was thinking the same thing, which is why I didn't post because I didn't feel like pointing out that I was stupid.

Well, according to the Merriam-Webster I have on my desk at work...which is GIGANTIC - "unbeatable" is not a word. It is, however, listed in the section under words that are no longer in use...something that was actually used back when, but no longer. Also, if you visit Merriam-Webster Online: www.m-w.com/ and enter the word, it will come up as not found. ~ Sir Robert
