Hello,
I request the Frenzy to repeal Section 22 of the Royal Code. The section states:
22. All Citizens of Natopia hereby have the Priviledge of owning guns for the purpose of hunting or collecting.
22.2 Hunting guns shall be classified as those firearms longer than 3 feet. Every hunting gun must be registered with the government.
22.3 Collectable guns shall be classified as those firearms considered to be an antique or historically significant. Collectable guns may not ammunition loaded in them at anytime, excluding official historical re-enactments. All collectable guns must be registered with the government.
22.4 Small firearms are banned from being produced within Natopia's borders and no small firearms may be imported. Small firearms are classified as those firearms specifically designed to be concealed to cause harm to a human.
22.5 The Natopian Defense Force may be excluded from this law, as may be police forces in Natopia, although their weapons must be imported with explicit government permission.
I want this repealed because I feel that since I own a gun/juice shop, I shouldn't be restricted so severely. I feel that citizens should be allowed to own weapons for their own use and protection. Due to the increase in crime and illegal immigration into Natopia, I feel that Natopia needs to be armed. Also allowing for freer gun laws will stimulate the economy because of the sale of weapons. Right now we can sell spaceships and other various stuff that might be used for human harm yet we are not allowed a simple gun?
