Uhhh... no... I'd like to cite a court decision that was a bit controversial from Lavalon... I think we need to be able to check the Courts.

there is a legislative check on the court. the court can only issue judicial reviews for unconstitutional stuff... the frenzy can amend the constitution to make the voided law constitutional.
if a majority of the Frenzy votes a bill in, and its declared unconstitutional... that exact same majority can overturn the review... that makes for a very weak judiciary.

a majority on the court is basically Rob until we can add more justices.
in American judicial tradition, the courts are usually the representatives for the minorities... as opposed to the majority elected legislatures. Courts have aided the civil rights movements while the majority-elected legislatures put segregation laws in place... and etc.

no... we're gonna avoid all that "abstain" unpleasentness that i recall caused some bad blood some time ago in Lavalon... votes are YES or NO only and arnt YOU the onle responsible for maintaining procedure! ;D
