note: its gonna be more work for our dear PM, but from now on, instead of labeling bills with the section numbers... just use Xs... tho, no one else proposed bills, so...whatever
X. The process of "embryo selection" shall be illegal within the Kingdom. x.2 Embryo selection is defined as artificially creating multiple embryos for the sole purpose of selecting the one embryo with the lowest amount of genetic defects, and destroying the remaining "faulty" embryos. x.3 Any doctor found practicing embryo selection shall be fined N10,000 and the oprganization that doctor is working for at the time of the illegal action shall pay N100,000 for each occurance of the procedure.
i move to debate.

should they be punished as well? thats kinda like arresting some 15 year old punk for "attempting" to buy cigarettes, intsead of turning them away....
....although arresting people on the spot WOULD deter people from even attempting, ya know?

NO. "for the sole purpose of selecting the one embryo with the lowest amount of genetic defects" she could just go and say that that's not the purpose of her doing this. nathan had to explain this to me.... i think artificial insemination should be the couple's choice. not the govt's. freeze vote for more debate

this bill does not ban artificial insemination... only when it is done mutliple time, and the resulting embryos are aborted.
