More split between Shi'ite and Sunni. More sectarian violence.
After Tookie Williams I don't believe in the death penalty no matter what the circumstance. Really it could be viewed as an easy way out.
Appeal process is obviously unfair since he was told "No appeal, die" just as well.
Also... I never knew hanging had so much.. complexity... the rope machine was just... ridiculous.

We brought democrocy to Iraq... 1827 style that is...
tookie was the reformed founder of the crypts (or was it bloods?) he was a major supporter of ending gang violance and crap. but they killed him all the same.
My attitude is if you want somebody dead don't make my tax dollars go to fullfilling your fucking vendetta. Get a gun and kill the bloke yourself don't waste my money doing it.

Tookie was not a murderor. He was executed for a murder he did not commit. The only "evidence" was a murder weapon that they had originally said was not real. Then the DA sent it back and all of a sudden it WAS the weapon. The jury pool consisted of 100 well off white people purposefully and in the 1980s in LA this guaranteed a conviction. 10 to 1 he did not commit that murder. He founded the crips but that's not what he was on trial for, and the Crips he founded and participated in was a very VERY tame version of the gang we know today so famously.
He was executed unjustly and not only that, it wasn't a matter of getting it wrong, it was a matter of a white jury convicting him due to race. Simple as that.

exactly my point... and I bet you would not be saying that if he were a close friend. An innocent person dealt with the horror of knowing he was going to die because he was black, all at the hands of the government. That's why I live micronations so much---I despise the US government (and subsequent locals) with a passion. And know that there at least one republican politician whom I hate: Arnold Assenager. I'd rather deal with Hilary.

Stanley... and any other criminal... so you don't have a problem with someone who had a traffic violation getting executed? That's the whole point, he did NOT do the crime! Founding the crips technically is not a crime, especially when the original gang was a very light gang that really didn't do much! One could argue that Natopia is a multinational gang
