But some times they get cool names like Sedna, Psyche, etc...
and no I'm not quallified but my gut tells me that the term 'planet' is in the eye of the beholder. Its not as technical as say defining what an atom or similar is...

the astronomers will tell you what to think and you will thank them im actually in an astronomy course now and pluto really has no right being a planet... its all wonky in orbit and its not on the ecliptic... but it will always be a planet in our hearts
