my school does orientation august 29... and we get to sign up for a "blockbuster lecture" the topic that looks really interesting is "Homosexuality in Ancient Greece" woo!

Its... pretty funny actually. But I mean, not THAT hard... there are some serious elements of arguable fact about homosexuality in Greece, and undoubetly some elements of true fact as well.

Excuse me... I was more referring to the nonserious proof that Alexander and other major leaders were gay. I understand some people took it for it was or whatever... but the idea od Alexander having oedipus AND being gay is contradictory.
Beyond that they're crap because the teachers are going to tell you a bunch of crap... if they were being discussed correctly they may be well but I imagine if you are being required to listen to a lecture on them then it will be stupid.

small liberal arts colleges arent like high school... i dont think the teachers will be there just to spout crap at me on any subject i get for my mandatory freshman lecture... i think u underestimate these peoples' academic integrity.

Perhaps If nothing else, YOU will find out whether I do or don't. I imagine you'll find some stupid teachers there though, but then again, I've never hated a teacher since Kindergarten believe it or not.

the spartans were pretty much all bi, their reasoning was the men would fight more effectively if they were lovers. well it worked for them but i cant say it appeals to me lol
