It is pretty cool... but what is the domain ".mod.uk" used for? That's a wierd suffix for Britain to add.

yeh ministy of defence. if i find any more pics i'll post em. but like i said i deleted all mine wen i was forced to leave, thats how distraught i was lol. fuckin pissed me off so much cos at the time i was being considered for promotion to corporal which is a bit unusual in the first four years of service. if ur wonderin why i had to leave it was cos my spine took a beatin in a car accident in northern ireland, army doctors told me i was unfit for service fuckin typical of my luck to be honest, had deployments in afghanistan and then iraq without a scratch but 2 weeks in northern ireland an some bastard hits me head on an ends my career.

oh sorry, i forget to explain stuff like this
british army gallantry awards: victoria cross/george cross (VC/GC) the GC is for gallantry not in the face of the enemy and as such can be awarded to civillians conspicious gallantry cross (CGC) military cross (MC) mentioned in despatches (MID) signified by a small oak leaf device worn on a campaign/war/victory medal ribbon
2 para was attatched to 20 armoured brigade during that deployment and the first VC awarded since the falklands was to Pte. johnson beharry of 1 battalion, princess of wales's royal regiment, 20 armoured brigade. althought that was before i was deployed out there in nov 04. there was also a few MC's awarded to soldiers serving with 20 armoured brigade
its also worth noting that the two VC's awarded in the falklands were both to paras, lieutenant colonel H. jones C.O of 2 para charged uphill attacking argie trenches at goose green and sergeant ian john mckay of 3 para charged argie trenches and a bunker with grenades at mount longdon both awards were posthumous
uh... a bit more in depth than u expected i bet lol
