What happens if the member nation creates something directly illegal in relation to UC law? For instance, say our COnstitution eventually has a bill of rights, and guarantees religios freedom, but a member decided to ban anyone but their own religion.
The UN does keep its own forces. I see no good reason that we can't.
"i will not have a possible non-Natopian interpreting Natopian laws for Natopia is basically what it boils down to. so perhaps the court should just be abolished and the House of Sovereigns can be the judicial thing... "
merging the legislative and judicial branches is always an awful idea, DESTROYS checks-and-balances. Perhaps the court can be organized to include legal representatives from each nation as well.

again... more bureacracy... why not just have all the nation's judges sit on the United Court? the nations's heads of states sit in the House of Sovereigns.
if they create something illegal to UC law, the Sovereign Chancellor files a lawsuit against the member nation and the United Court issues a ruling... under the current set up, UC rulings are supreme in all nations so then the UC could rule that the illegal actions of the rogue nation are voided.
why cant we keep our own military? ur right... here, have all my SNARL-approved tanks and ships. THATS our military... but thats still under our control anyway... so u want control of our actual boats and soldiers? (no joke, we have them, our supreme commander, count aaron, is a demolitions expert...) coz the UC cant have our actuall military.

I was under the impression you were arguing with the system that the Court can supercede national law.
I do not necessarily mean military per-se. I mean, if we are actually attacked---in the way Sullifree was, or in some way otherwise attacked property wise by another nation, not only can a nation defend itself, but we can also come together to defend a nation... more defenses than actual military...

If you're saying you are accepting the solution of keeping it the way it is if all the nations' head justices serve, then fantastic... but even if I finish it, I need the answers.

enlarging the court to include all member's chief justices would be fine with me.

Actually, not sure this is the best option here... if you think about it, court systems can be pretty screwy... and what if a nation does not actually have a HEAD court justice? I't clear to me this probably don't work. If you want me to change it to where it can't overturn a ruling regarding internal affairs, I will.

If i want YOU to change it, YOU will, eh?
Fine, WE will have a 3 person court, just as before... but it wont be able to make rulings on member's laws.
Thank you allowing such a gracious admission Your Highness.

Well I meant I thought I would end up being the one to finish the draft, didn't mean much by it... and well, the court will still be able to rule involving internal affairs on the grounds that the member nation is in violation with UC law, but won't serve as an appeals court.
Frazzled? heh... *hugs Nate, in a very intimate non-homosexual moment*

Im not thinking 3-4 smaller nations uniting together will really protect us from anything.... I don't think Natopia will be entering into this organization.
I will gladly release Sullifree and Alrodria from imperial protection if you wish. I apologize for this abrupt change in policy.
