well... there is no UC just yet... so um... hmm...
how will we do this? Just let Aryez sign and ratify the treaty along with us three? or have sullifree, alrodria, and natopia ratify and establish the organization, and then let Aryez join through the legal joining procedure?

since the UC isnt officially created yet, I say let Aryez just ratify it with the other three. it saves a couple of weeks and a lot of cyberpaperwork

"PAE Aryez would like to join the discussions for joining the United Confederation, under the same terms that Alrodia and Sullifree have accepted. "
Under the same terms that just us accepted? Sullifree, Aldrodria AND Natopia are equal in this except to the extent that Natopia will get more representation in the house of citizens due to population, but since there are the same amount of people in each member nation in the upper house that's kinda our senate so it seems the legislature is pretty similar to the US in a way

Yea, the UC treaty has already been ratified in Aryez. So Aryez is ready to join right now, if you'll have us. The Aryezi constitution will be amended accordingly.

there is no treaty. First of all, I would like to ensure that every element of your Constitution is in accordance with our CONSTITUTION. In my view, if there is no specified right, there is no right, so ultimately I need you to slightly alter EVERYTHING in order to make the UC legal in your nation.

I didn't understand what you want Brian? "Our constitution" as in whose? Natopia's, Sullifree's? Unlike other nations, Aryez simply does not write a new constitution whenever. All I have to do is add Amendment 23 to the Aryezi constitution turn Aryez into a UC nation. Amendment 23 will strike everything not UC from the constitution and add everything UC that is not already in. Yes, Aryez would like to join within the next 24 hours.

We will not be rushing this... This should be perfected first before we start it up...
We're still fine tuning the UC constitution... its much easier to change it now then to have to amend it after ratification.
I was only wondering about how to let Aryez in because i was wondering whether it would be better PR to start the Confederation off with more members, or to start it, and THEN get members to join up later?
Actually... it might be best to get as many as we can now... so that we have enough people to fill up all the spots first... then we can work on getting Observers after we've established ourselves... coz some of the bigger nations that might be interested in what we're doing would want us to be stable before committing.

that's actually exactly what I meant aryeztur. Thankfully, once this is started, I was smart enough to require the approval of a nation before they change their system... did that one on purpose

My question is could there be negative PR from accepting Aryez?

The way I see it, Aryez still governs itself, so the way it is structured, anyone taking the time to look will know that Aryez, despite often being criticized for its inner workings, would have little power to do anything but good for the UC in any way.

Only if he says something to create negative PR. But other than that...

Let's make him put little disclaimers that say "Aryez does not represent the will of the UC"
