I think (and hope) that LOTR will win, but I won't be surprised if they don't because:
#1- Sci-Fi/Fantasy movies rarely win
#2- It's got stiff competition from all the other 4 movies, especially "Master and Commander"
#3- Sci-Fi/Fantasy movies rarely win

I didn't mind it the first time around, because it lost to "A Beautiful Mind" (excellent movie)
However, last year's loss to "Chicago" was a joke. That movie has STUPID written all over it.

My friend that lives in Chicago says that the movie Chicago is a disgrace to the city.

Here you go movies.yahoo.com/movies/feature/osc_03winners.htmlLord of the Rings - Return of the King won a record tying of 11 Oscars. It won in every single catagory it was nominated for. It definately recieved recognition Nathan.. Also, I've never seen Return of the King yet, but I really like the Fellowship of the Ring and the Two Towers. As much as I like the movie trilogy, I still think that Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl should have won something at least. Capn Jack Sparrow owns you!

You're right, Pirates of the Carribean should have won something... I blame Nathan!

Yeah, I've never seen Return of the King. I only get to see most movies when I'm at a cousin's house or when it gets on dvd.

i dont beleive jack sparrow owns me... not at all.
it is entirely my fault that pirates did not recieve anything... i personally bribed all the acadamy judges. and if that some sort of dishonesty... then may God pour pudding down my shirt.
