Welcome to the Republic Library's presentation of the Natopian Archeological Exposition. The Exposition hopes to educate all those interested in Natopia's earliest moments.
The Republic Library financed the Archeological Expedition that dug deep into old journals and notebooks and eyewitness accounts to present an accurate portrayal of early Natopian life to visitors of the Exposition.
Please go through the following exhibits to learn about Natopia's history.

Exhibit 1 This is the common house of the early Natopian. They were primarily white with tapered roof that was swept to one side, usually the left when facing the house. The domiciles were all painted with a simple design, that of an N overlaying an S. This design is the earliest design of the Natopian culture and can be seen on other buildings and also the Natopian's space craft. It is generally accepted that the N and S stand for the initials of the Primary Founder, Nathan Shepard.

Exhibit 2 This is the Death House. There was only one in the entire city. Its purpose was to eliminate all undesireable citizens. Excavated execution logs list "stupidity" as the reason for the majority of deaths performed at this facility. Natopia was established to be a utopia and its founders believed, at the time, that utopia can only be achieved through the elimination of citizens that would only detract from the goal of utopia. Several Expedition members were lost when excavating the Death House, as the facility is entirely automated. It is obvious to us modern Natopians that early Natopians were brutal and unmerciful when it came to the execution of undesireable citizens. The implements of death in the facility allow for an excurtiatingly painful death.

Exhibit 3 The most beautiful structure in the city, and the crowning achievement of early Natopian achitects, is the President's House. The City of Natopia was ruled by a President, who lived high atop the upper section of the structure. Seeming to defy gravity, the extremely prominent President's Office was essential to the Founders' early thoughts on elected leaders. The Office was placed in plain view of the entire city to facilitate the regular assassination of the President. Why this was neccesary is unknown to us as the Founders cannot explain why they thought such a system would work.

Exhibit 4 This is the Natopian Spacefleet Fighter. The fighter, as well as other spaceship designs, was designed by the Primary founder, Nathan Shepard, months prior to the establishment of Natopia. However, the designs were emblazoned with the "NS" symbol and used to protect Natopian skies. Other designs are beleived to exist but the Expedition did not find evidence of this.

Exhibit 5 Using recovered sketches and accounts of the Founders, the Expedition has rendered this recreation of how Natopia looked at its establishment. The city was situated on clouds with Natopian fighters patroling the upper levels. The President's house sits prominently to the right with the Death House sitting silently to the left. The central building's purpose is not known but could have been used as a large meeting place or, perhaps, the city's legislature.
